Advertising Policy

1. Purpose

Open Play Central is a pickleball community used by players, families, and organizers. Paid placements on the homepage, live queue, rotating banners, Facebook mentions, and merchant spots must stay safe, lawful, and appropriate for that audience.

Open Play Central is a family pickleball community. We do not allow ads for gambling, casinos, sex, nudity, drugs, weapons, scams, or other illegal or adult activity. Admin may refuse, pause, or remove any ad and may disable the advertiser account. PKL spent on a rejected or removed violating ad is not refunded.

2. Who this applies to

This policy applies to advertisers, merchants buying paid placements, agencies acting for a brand, and anyone who submits a creative, headline, logo, destination link, or Facebook mention through Open Play Central.

3. Prohibited advertising

You may not advertise, promote, or link to any of the following:

• Gambling, betting, sportsbooks, lotteries, or games of chance
• Casinos, online casinos, e-sabong, jueteng, cockfighting, or similar wagering
• Sex, pornography, nudity, adult entertainment, or sexually explicit material
• Escort, prostitution, or sexual services
• Dating or hookup ads marketed for sexual encounters
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
• Tobacco, vape, e-cigarettes, or nicotine products
• Alcohol ads aimed at minors, or illegal alcohol sales
• Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives
• Counterfeit, stolen, or gray-market goods
• Scams, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, get-rich-quick offers, or fake investments
• Unlicensed lending, payday loans, or deceptive financial products
• Fake IDs, forged documents, or identity-theft tools
• Unlicensed medicines, miracle cures, or dangerous supplements
• Hate, harassment, discrimination, or extremist content
• Violence, graphic injury, or content that promotes harm
• Human trafficking or exploitation
• Child sexual abuse material, sexualization of minors, or any ad involving children in a sexual context
• Any other illegal activity under Philippine law or the laws of the advertiser’s location

This list is not exhaustive. If an ad is illegal, deceptive, harmful to children, or unfit for a family sports community, we will treat it as prohibited.

4. Allowed advertising

Local brands, clinics, academies, events, food and shops, sports goods, health and education services, and similar community-appropriate businesses may advertise when the creative and destination page are lawful and age-appropriate.

5. Review and enforcement

• We may review, refuse, pause, or remove any ad at any time, with or without notice.
• We may disable an advertiser or merchant account that violates this policy.
• We may report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
• Creating an account or paying PKL does not guarantee that an ad will stay live.

6. Fees and refunds

Advertising is paid with PKL. If we reject, pause, or remove an ad because it violates this policy, or if we disable an account for a violation, PKL already charged for that placement is not refunded. See our Refund Policy.

7. Advertiser responsibilities

• Your brand name, creative, headline, and destination link must match a real, lawful offer.
• You must have the rights to any photo, logo, or text you upload.
• You are responsible for the page players reach when they tap your ad.
• By creating an advertiser account or publishing an ad, you agree to this policy, our Terms of Service, and our Child Safety Standards.
